VISIT THE LABYRINTH

If you feel like a stroll and exploration of our lands, you may want to visit our labyrinth that is about 100m from the pool under one of our beautiful stone oak trees. This labyrinth was built by our daughter, Manuela and her husband, David for their wedding ceremony in 2018. The labyrinth is a replica of the one from Chartres Cathedral in France - built in 1220 AD and is open to all who want to experience or walk a labyrinth.

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol of wholeness. It represents a meandering but purposeful path. Walking a labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.

The journey into the center is a time for self-reflection, clearing any obstacles that lie before us, letting go of the past and becoming fully present. The heart of the labyrinth represents the sacred destination, where we might like to think of things we would like to release or let go of, perhaps pray or meditate and then also set intentions or express desires. The walk out of the labyrinth represents a time for transition, a journey back home and it anchors in any intentions that were made in the center.
